How can I get my kitty to stop biting whenever we try to pat her or play?
She is a one year old mau kitty and whenever we play with her she bites and bites hard. I’ve been told flicking her on the nose will stop her, but that doesn’t work and I don’t like doing it to her.
Don’t spray her or hit her. That causes trust issues. When she bites, stop playing and walk away. She’ll soon figure out if she wants to play, she can’t bite or playtime’s over.
Fox29: I read some of your answers. You told someone to give their cat 2 human pain relievers. You told someone else to give garlic to their cat for fleas. Both of those can be deadly to cats. Please educate yourself before giving advice that could cause someone to kill their pet.
